Seven venues in Covington host a weekend of International Music, Dance and Art featuring 40+ acts and 150+ performers in a great celebration of diverse cultures and art forms. Discover a new world through the language of music - and travel around the globe by foot on the streets of Covington. Proceeds benefit Play it Forward, a 501c3 nonprofit that assists musicians in times of extreme hardship.Location:

Javier Mendoza, a nationally touring musician from, St. Louis, MO has been voted Best Latin, Best World, Best Pop and Best Rock performer and has appeared on MTV, performed with Willy Nelson, Los Lobos, The Smithereens, Blues Traveler, Ben Folds, The Roots and many others. While with Chappell-Warner Records, Javier wrote for Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias, Carlos Robles & Rosario. He has developed a strong bicultural style writing in English and in Spanish...blending both languages beautifully. Javier will return to the Cincinnati area for his CD Release Tour Concert at the Madisonville Arts Center Theater (The MAC) on Sat. The night keeps rocking with Acarya, an original acoustic rock band with international and Worldbeat influences.
